Yep. Finally got my new laptop all set up. My old one was about 3-4 years old, but I may still get a bit of use out of it. Anyway, it's going to take a bit of getting used to this new one, but I have no regrets about the upgrade.

I will have to reinstall certain programs, though, like my GIMP.

Edit: I updated AWAE 2 again. Chapter 39 is up, and Chapter 40 is done.

I don't think I'll be doing requests, but I am willing to do trades.

In all my years of gaming, I have never seen such an ambitious video game project as Super Smash Brothers Brawl. It is epic in so many ways.

The single-player Adventure mode: The SubSpace Emissary is expected to take up a good 10 hours, and has elements of both platforming (going along set levels), fighting (duh) and even RPGs (stickers as powerups). While the storyline (weird black-faced guys taking worlds into their darkness) is definitely a more-than-coincidental ripoff of Kingdom Hearts, it's still going to be fun, I bet.

I'm already mostly satisfied with the current known roster (aside from the leaks). I hoped dearly for Wario (with an option to hisc classic costume too, which doubly pleased me), Diddy Kong (complete with Donkey Kong 64 gear), Meta Knight, King Dedede and Sonic to get in...and sure enough, they all have. At this point, only Ridley (of Metroid) could make this roster complete. I'm also waiting on Ganondorf, whom I bet would have a new move set and his Twilight Princess look.

But what I'm really excited about is the online multiplayer. This will probably be the first game to have widespread use of the Wii's Wi-Fi system, and I'm going to make full use of it. Once I get my hands on Brawl, I'll probably be taking Wii numbers from my friends who have a copy of the game.

There is no doubt that Super Smash Brothers Brawl will be THE game to have for the Wii. I'm not surprised it was delayed past December...it would have competed with Super Mario Galaxy.

The title sounds like something off of FanFiction.Net, though the game itself looks promising. The mentioning of time passing indicates that some of the characters may have matured/aged a bit though the screenshots don't quite suggest it. Still, I really want a DS now, if only to play this game.

And yes, I expect the plot to have more holes than Swiss cheese. Still, with BioWare (the people who brought you Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, all great games) making this, we can expect it to be mediocre at worst, and awesome at best, even with Electronic Arts breathing down their necks.
